Detailed Description

The business support officer maintains projects and customers data and workflows in the projects/financial database ensuring that all related business processes are operating efficiently.

Essential functions include:

  • Create contract proposals based on input from Business Development and/or the operation, using available contract templates; returns drafts to requestor for review, sends final version to client for signature, saves signed contracts in the designated system, including required administrative tasks.
  • Create projects based on contracts in the designated system, including (but not only) adding activities/tasks, rates, fixed fees, invoicing schedules, project members etc. in a way the projects are fit for hour entry and invoicing purposes. Maintaining the projects throughout the project life cycle. Reporting about projects, when requested.
  • Serve as a help desk for colleagues from the operation in the fields of used systems, current rules and procedures, business processes.
  • Create invoices for projects within the required timeframe, taking into account hour entry, customer contracts and other relevant information, sending the invoices to the customers in the way they prefer, solving any remark or complaint about invoices, together with project/account managers.
 

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years administrative experience
  • Proficient working in databases, basic programming skills a plus
  • The ideal candidate is motivated, possesses self-awareness and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with other high-performing team members
  • Must have a can-do attitude along with an ability to learn new skills
  • Proficiency in Workday is a plus
  • Proficiency in one or more areas of Workday administration a plus:  HCM, Core Financials
