Job Summary

Job Description

We are looking for an ‘Cloud Engineer’ to strengthen our cloud (hybrid, IaaS and PaaS) platforms in specific but also within IT infrastructure technologies, ecosystems and governance. Customer is on an ambitious journey to modernize our current infrastructure landscape by utilizing modern cloud services, we are looking for skills that could help us bridge and transform technology and services from datacenter centric to cloud centric solutions. With an always-on mindset like; GitOps, IaC and high sense of urgency, you will be assisting departments globally (Engineering, Operation & Maintenance) in designing, configuring and managing solutions for their devices, tools, and applications.

Detailed Description

Here are some of key skills you need to have;

1. Defining technical direction for Cloud migrations and managing the implementation and technical solutions.

2. Have knowledge on Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Landing Zone

3. Experience on working and providing Database as a Service (IaaS and PaaS) solution

4. Experience in Migrating complex projects from on-prem to Cloud which includes database/storage transformation from IaaS to PaaS.

5. Building, upgrading, and maintaining the performance storage, e.g. ANF, CVO, Storage-account, S3, File-Share, NFS, etc.

6. Responsible for the management and improvement of existing tools, and establishing new automation. This may include integrating tools with other development technology.

7. Experience developing automated code and infrastructure deployment (CICD) pipelines using as code (Terraform and Ansible) scripts and Infrastructure as Code templates.

8. Experience with automation languages; Python , Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, AzCLI, API, YAML etc.

9. Experience working on VCS, Git or GitHub.

10. Creating documentation to aid in knowledge management efforts within cloud services and provide training. Plus; if you have experience on ‘Documentation as a Code’

11. Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements, aligned with Product Owner requirement

Must have;

1. Public Azure Cloud Certifications: AZ-400
