Who are we?
We are a biotechnology company in the foodtech and alternative protein market. Our product is Promyc, a sustainably produced, vegan mycoprotein that we are producing and developing in our facilities in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg (HQ). We are facing a rapid expansion journey as we are currently planning and building our new production site in Falkenberg. Since our founding in 2017, we have grown from a lab scale to a pilot-production facility and to a team of 35+ people.

What will you do?
In this position, you will be a data-driven lighthouse between our technical and business teams. You will both structure and analyze technical data to solve product-related challenges, and also analyze customer and market data to help guide product development. In between these, you will create visualizations as an important component for communicating insights. Some examples of what the role might involve are:

Essential prerequisites to be successful in this role is the ability to translate bio-science to code. Therefore we believe that you have:
You probably have an MSc in chemical, biochemistry, industrial or mechanical engineering (or a BSc with some professional experience). We consider previous experience in biotech or relevant industry in a similar role as highly meritorious.
We are looking for someone with an ability to independently analyze data and extract information. You will be the first one to join Mycorena within the Data Department and it is thereby important that you are comfortable with creating structures from scratch, i.e. have an appetite for solving complex problems by applying a systems approach to manage complexity and reach feasible applicable solution.
As the role inherently calls for it, you are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
