The Division Controller position is responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.

• Prepare monthly financials for the Life Science Consulting and Regulatory Sciences companies including managing of the revenue generation cycle.
• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of month-end-close processes and reconciliations.
• Review or compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Recommend, develop, and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filling systems.
• Primary contact to coordinate interactions with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Work with accounting group related to cash disbursements including reporting of cash balance.
• Administrator of the cash management systems.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable guidelines.
• Plan, assign, and direct work.
• Enforce human resources policies and procedures with support of human resources staff.
• Develop and mentor direct reports and staff. Includes scheduling, reviews, staff motivation, training, and development.
• Participate in in-house staffing training.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates an understanding of advanced accounting principles.
• Prefer working knowledge of Deltek Vision or Workday.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
• Multi-company GL experience.
• B.S./B.A. in Accounting.
• Prefer CPA License.
