Detailed Description

Job Description

·To support the finance team with daily duties, including filing.

·Monitoring incoming mail & email and responding appropriately.

·Processing supplier invoices and assisting with supplier payments, together with all necessary approvals.

·Provide cover within the team during absence for purchase ledger duties within the UK Finance Team.

·Analysing credit card statements and ensuring all approval policies have been followed for each item of expenditure and inputting onto the Finance System.

·Use correct nominal coding of all documentation as laid out during training.

·Maintain the purchase log.

·Maintain the Fixed Asset register.

·Producing monthly sales invoices for clients.

·To be proactive in seeking out new tasks as working time becomes available due to increased efficiency/working speed.

·Set up Clients/Contracts on relevant systems

·Payment Run weekly, ensuring all staged payments are set up, payments to HMRC are set up correctly.

·Credit Control

·Bank Reconciliations

·Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

·Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.

·Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the Company.

· Appreciate and support the role of other professionals.

·Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.

·Participate in training & performance development as required.

·Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post which may be required from time to time.

Qualifications

Studying for AAT Qualification or equvalent.
