Job description
We are currently searching for an independent Automation Lead who be key at driving a number of interesting and challenging projects for one of our key life-science clients based out of Ireland. The project will last for approx. 6-9 months; require 1.0 FTE (40-45 hours per week) and will require onsite presence 5 days per week.
Essential Functions Include:
Assist the project Director in leading and coordinating automation execution, scheduling, and handover activities
Ensure all key regulations, procedures including safety, intellectual properties are achieved
Organize and lead an efficient project delivery team with diverse background; ensure global SOPs are followed and achieved
Drive cross functional activities across the project and provide oversight and coordination to seamlessly integrate automation engineering efforts
Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure design solutions achieve long term business objectives and are supported by robust technical rationale
Work with technical team and business stakeholders to gather user requirements, developing project charter, timeline, milestone and deliverables integrating lifecycle management per GAMP5 Guidance.
Able to translate the user requirements to implementable automation solution on schedule.
Manage and coordinate forecasts, tasks, plans, risks, change management and status to support effective decision making.
Assist the PD with reporting to stakeholders and review boards
Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience working with Rockwell software (Rockwell Engineers would be highly preferred)
Proven ability to work as an Automation Lead
Exposure to the life-science industry is preferred
Fluent in English
Can work onsite in Ireland 5 days per week
Available to take on a new contract as of 1st March 2023 (or as close as)
Flexible with strong stakeholder management skills
