Job Description

As Senior GMP Project Manager, you will ensure the timely completion of project developments to scope, specifications, procedures, project schedule, and budget. 

The position will require close cooperation with technical engineers, external contractors, technicians, and stakeholders.  

This role requires a full-time commitment and most of the work will be done on-site, with some remote work as well. The length of the contract is for one year with the possibility of an extension.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Act as GMP Project Manager
  • Support plant design specifically relating to wastewater capacity/scale/treatment; biopharma buffer waste (high phosphate) processing; input waste adherence to effluent licensing requirements
  • Lead Permitting and support Finance tasks
  • Drive project execution and coach team on the application of work process.
  • Analyze project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Monitor and update the project schedule, estimates, project cost, and manage change to established scope and baselines
  • Identify and take corrective action (with appropriate approval) to ensure the project goals for cycle-time, cost, and quality are met
  • Provide input on own project impacting tasks the planning portfolio.
  • Contribute to intake start design (general utility use, model)
  • Check budget, resource, and planning estimate
  • Check the quality of the design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters in mechanical or chemical engineering with min 10 years of experience
  • Engineering Qualification
  • Experience in building wastewater plants
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Client-oriented, dedicated, flexible, proven project management skills with a helicopter view and able to quickly switch between different assignments.
  • Good analytical, listening, and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, decisive, detail-oriented
  • Independent, structured, and result-driven attitude
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic relation builder with a quality-driven mindset
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office tools (Excel, Visio, Word, Projects)
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language
