Detailed Description

Your Future Responsibilities: 

• Build efficient and robust workflows between our internal services and external ones using the vendor APIs
• Design, implement and document RESTful APIs for our applications and services
• Design and implement cutting-edge, high-performing React single-page applications from scratch, which rely on a cloud-based microservice architecture and will transform the real estate industry
• Integrate third-party tools into our AWS-based platform landscape
• Implement proper error-handling mechanisms
• Assess technical feasibility in build vs. buy analysis
• Design and implement data storage solutions for structured and arbitrary data and their relations, which are secure, highly available and GDPR complaint
• Take a significant role in the decision-making of Architrave's service-oriented architecture
• Help and mentor other engineers to develop further

What You Should Bring With You:

• At least four years of experience with PHP and Python, as well as profound knowledge of at least one other language
• At least three years of experience in modern web technologies (ES, HTML, TypeScript, CSS) and profound knowledge of React
• Profound knowledge of AWS integrations and services
• Professional experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch and Textract is a big plus
• Hands-on experience with WebHooks and API design
• Experience with SPA and API-intensive applications is essential
• Professional experience with Docker and K8s
• Excellent communication skills to explain complexity in a straightforward way
• User-driven and value-driven mindset, to create the best solutions for our customers
• Fluent in written and verbal English communication. German is not mandatory, but a plus.

We're happy to have our employees working in our office or remotely. Currently, remote employees are expected to live in Germany in order to be able to join team events and meetings physically from time to time, if meaningful and secure.

In order to contribute to our society and healthcare system, during the COVID-19 pandemic time our offices in Berlin & Dresden remain open (while allowed) with limited capacity and proper safety and hygiene plan. 

After the pandemic, we expect our remote employees to be able to join us in our regular company and team events a few times a year.
