Job Summary

FINN makes mobility fun and sustainable. Offering convenient and flexible car subscriptions, we bring a true e-commerce experience to car ownership and offset all CO2 emissions along the way. Join our fast-growing scale-up to build the most popular car subscription platform in Europe and the USA. We work with the best car brands in the world and have raised €140m in equity by leading global investors.

Detailed Description

Your Role

As Head of FINN Delivery Service, you build and run an entirely new, aspiring, business unit: our own car delivery service. You develop a business concept to deliver and return cars nation-wide with FINN trucks and drivers. After successfully piloting the concept, you turn it into reality and sizably scale it up. Along this journey, you own all major activities, from hiring and people leadership, to quality assurance and customer satisfaction as well as process optimization and performance management. Your goal is to make the delivery experience best-in-class for our customers at healthy unit economics.

Your Benefits

    • This role is based in Munich, Germany. For candidates relocating to Munich, we offer full visa support as well as a significant relocation package.
    • With massive growth potential, FINN allows you to quickly develop and succeed in a highly motivating startup environment with ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent fixed salary, significant virtual equity share of the company, along a yearly personal development budget of 3.000€.
    • Our open, modern office in the middle of Munich is known for loads of fun with amazing colleagues and frequent team events.
    • You want to drive your own car with FINN? – Get one with our employee discount program.

Your Responsibilities

    • Build up and lead our FINN Delivery Service:  With your entrepreneurial mindset, you steer our delivery service like a start-up inside a start-up. Taking full ownership in the driver seat, you run MVPs, refine our growth roadmap and scale it up. You coordinate all support processes and demonstrate a creative, solution-oriented mindset for whatever comes your way.
    • Grow and lead a winning team: You define your team set-up and build, coach, and develop an AAA team. As their energetic leader, you motivate and inspire colleagues across all levels to meet the main KPIs around customer satisfaction, cost and efficiency.
    • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction: To turn our customers into loyal fans, you develop and roll-out an industry-leading customer experience for handovers and returns. You are eager to set new standards in car e-commerce and make these happen.
    • Continuously strive for process excellence: By coordinating a nation-wide network of highly-qualified drivers, you identify and realize opportunities to make our deliveries and returns (50.000+ planned across all channels in 2023) even more efficient, create outstanding customer satisfaction and sharpen our cost structure.
    • Shape the technical backbone for hypergrowth: We believe in the power of technology and automation. You drive the evolution of our tech ecosystem together with our dedicated product and tech team to a fully-automated platform that seamlessly integrates several stakeholders and services (e.g. time tracking, ride allocation, expense management etc.).

Your Profile

    • 4+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup or another fast-paced environment, like a strategy consulting firm.
    • Graduated with at least a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, (business) engineering, business informatics, logistics, or similar.
    • Experience in setting up scalable and compliant processes – preferably in the mobility or logistics sector - with a track record of successfully balancing priorities & delivering on KPIs.
    • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, bias towards action and highly analytical; passion to work with (new) IT tools with a natural technical understanding and automation-first mentality.
    • Experience in hiring, motivating, and empathetically leading colleagues across all levels.
    • Fluent in German and English.
