The IT Innovation and Implementation Specialist position is responsible for supporting the configuration and maintenance of new systems, applications and hardware and ensuring a positive experience for our customers and clients.


We are looking for candidates with an interest in IT looking for a starting point to build their career. If you are a new graduate or have some experience with IT this role may be a great fit for you. You will support the management, configuration and distribution of IT assets primarily from our Leiden office - however travel to our UK and European offices will also be required on occasion.

Detailed Description

Essential Functions:

  • Support the development of product life cycle processes and procedures.
  • Collect and analyse data and define client/customer objectives.
  • Translate professional requests into technical steps to implement.
  • Define and execute delivery, implementation plans and workflows.
  • Support the Innovation and Implementation Manager in planning, developing, and managing changes to technical solutions (systems, software, hardware) to match the company’s and client requirements.
  • Test and troubleshoot final system setup and configuration.
  • Document and deliver training to colleagues and clients following implementation.
  • Support the integrity of ticket management systems.
  • Attend and/or represent the Innovation and Implementation team at arranged meeting(s).
  • Work across departments (applications/service desk/ITSM) to ensure full understanding of ProPharma products and configuration.
  • Create and update documentation, including training material for publishing in EQMS, solutions within the Global Service Desk and any other requested by your manger.
  • Create and produce reports based on service usage for internal and external customers.
  • Travel to other ProPharma Office locations.

 

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of or experience with cloud applications (IaaS, PaaS, Saas, Google WS).
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent implementations (projects).
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • A good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good organization and personal time management.
  • Good interpersonal skills for interactions with team members, executive members, and commercial partners.
  • Able to think up imaginative and innovative solutions to problems.
  • Able to work within a team in a positive, open, and professional manner.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary Education
  • Agile or Prince2 foundation qualification (preferred)
  • IT specialist certification (preferred).
