This position is cross-teams leading the engineering agenda for the distributed hosting area globally within the company. The lead systems engineer is chairing the senior engineering forum where prioritization of incoming business demands is handled (WHAT) and assigned to the respective team for developing and operating (HOW).
The lead systems engineer is working closely together with the unit manager for distributed hosting as well as the Business analyst for the unit, where tactical questions are handled.
The lead systems engineer is also part of the leadership team, including the engineering managers for the development and operations teams.
Limited travel might be required. (Travel cost abroad Sweden will be covered by the client)

– T-shaped knowledge including server room components, rack, ups, pdu, network, security, server, virtualization and OS.
– We are running a HCI setup based on Nutanix together with hardware from HPE, Aruba, PaloAlto, Versa, Schneider to mention the main suppliers.
