Job Summary

Job Description

The Infrastructure Operation & Maintenance is delivered as a managed service from a service provider. However, there is a need to strengthen the customers team with an IT Infrastructure Specialist to provide operational support to the service.

The Supporting Service Fusion Database Platform enables several IT Services through provisioning of infrastructure and technical components (Technical Platform). This is performed by/through (but not limited to):

• High availability and protection of data

• Capacity management

• Provisioning of Oracle database services

• System maintenance

• Incident-, change- and problem management

• Service Request Fulfilment

• Monitoring and Event Management

• Lifecycle Management (e.g., upgrades, patching)

• Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud (ERP)

• Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)

• Oracle Golden Gate Cloud Service

• Oracle Database Cloud Service

• Oracle Process Cloud Services

• Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)

• Oracle Database Backup Service

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure- Block Storage Classic

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure – Object Storage Classic

• Oracle Linux on OCI compute

• Oracle Database

Responsibilities and deliverables, Main responsibilities:

• Ensure that the IT infrastructure solutions are maintained, monitored, administrated, and supported.

• Suggest development improvements of design changes for cost and capacity effective utilization.

• Ensure that solutions meet the requirements of performance, security, availability, scalability,

flexibility, sustainability, life cycle and cost-effectiveness.

• Support projects and process areas with specialist knowledge and architectural support

Main tasks (but not limited to):

• Support tasks related to Incident-, Problem-, Change-, and Capacity Management

• Drive enhancement initiatives, such as improving the monitoring capabilities.

• Participate as resource in projects and/or initiatives as requested

Required competences:

• Experience of working with solutions in a complex IT environment

• Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Technologies, such as

• Oracle Integration Access Cloud Service (IACS)

• BI Cloud Connector (BICC)

Technical environment to have experience from:

• Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud (ERP)

• Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)

• Oracle Golden Gate Cloud Service

• Oracle Developer Cloud Service

• Oracle Database Cloud Service

• Oracle Process Cloud Services

• Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)

• Oracle Database Backup Service

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure- Block Storage Classic

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure – Object Storage Classic

• Oracle Linux on OCI compute

• Scripting

• Strong documentation skills

• Strong English language skills
