As an IT Service Desk Technician, you will provide internal 1st line IT Support for ProPharma staff, providing an excellent customer experience relating to incidents and faults with end-user technology equipment and services.

Detailed Description

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the first point of contact for Service Desk incidents.
  • Taking inbound customer calls and accurately perform initial ticket review within the Service Desk Ticketing system, ensuring customers are kept up to date and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Provide assistance and training on approved software utilised on ProPharma Group IT systems.
  • User Account Management – managing new hire account creation, account changes and terminations.
  • Provide documentation for self-help, known issues and work-around's.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on a Rota basis including late shifts in the IST Time zone
  • Candidates must have: At least 2 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grade C or above, including English and ICT/Technology
  • A demonstrable interest in IT customer service.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Good ororganizationnd personal time management.
  • Good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills for interactions with team members and clients.
  • Good understanding of MS Office suite and AD account management

 

Desirable:

  • BTEC Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • ITIL Foundation certificate
