The Role:

We are seeking a BSW (AUTOSAR Configuration) Engineer who will support GKN ePowertrain AWD/eDrive Product development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Capture and analyse software requirements from customer and related Systems / Components (e.g. Hw).
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external standards including functional safety.
  • Configure SW using state-of-the art methods and tools.
  • Verify configured SW by review, static analysis, testing, etc.
  • Prepare and deliver SW-components for integration.
  • Plan and execute Software Integration (including Configuration Management).
  • Participate in review of software requirements and architecture
  • Support SW-PL on detailed planning and team coordination.
  • Analyse Defects and Changes.
  • Setup and maintain the SW Development environment.

Who you’ll be:

To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in Automotive domain and hands on experience in configuring stacks based on AUTOSAR architecture

Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required

Essential Skills

  • Engineering or Post Graduate Engineering degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Automotive domain
  • Hands on experience in Powertrain or Chassis domain
  • Experience in AUTOSAR architecture
  • Good understanding of and using ARXML architecture description files as input for the SW construction
  • Hands on experience in configuring at least two stacks:
      • Diagnostics stack
      • COM Stack
      • MCAL and Memory drivers
      • NVM
      • XCP and CPU Load measurement
      • RTE
      • MPU Implementation
      • Multicore integraton
  • Good knowledge of Microcontroller architecture (Aurix or equivalent)

Tool Skills

  • PTC Integrity
  • Vector Davinci Configurator
  • Vector Davinci Developer
  • Tessy
  • Polyspace
  • Experience in using Debuggers like iSystems or Lauterbach or equivalent
  • Experience is using Digital Oscilloscope

Language Skills

Must be fluent in English
