This is a FULLTY REMOTE opportunity based in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts specific entities within UK Finance.
Provision of monthly analysis and assistance with management accounts reporting to regional stakeholders and corporate finance based in the US.
Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts
Reporting on factors influencing business performance
Assist with the annual budget process in conjunction with regional managers and other departments
Maintenance of all balance sheet reconciliations
Assistance with year-end audit procedures
Statutory filing and payments
Manage the cashflow requirements connected with all four entities.
Processing transactions such as supplier invoicing, bank payments, bank reconciliations, sales invoicing & checking accuracy of coding.
Manage the intercompany billing and nominal ledger accounts for all entities in this region. Manage intercompany eliminations.
Assist with management accounting tasks for other entities within the region
Quarterly VAT returns all entities.
Provide cover for National Statistics
Work with other Management Accountants with the UK Finance Team on Continuous Improvement and streamlining of systems/procedures.
Job Requirements:
Experience of preparing management accounts
Excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent planning skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business
Qualified accountant or studying towards (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
Strong academic background
Experience of preparing management accounts
