Job Summary

Your Tasks:

Together, we are taking the step into a new era of cognitive robots:

Development of sensors and applications, both for integration in robots and as stand-alone variants
Planning and execution of experiments for characterization and validation of the developed hardware and software, including the production of the test environment
Programming of microcontrollers and user software for evaluation, visualization and (pre-)processing of sensor data
Defining, implementing, testing and documenting communication interfaces between sensor and user
Supporting colleagues from the mechanical and electrical engineering departments in the further development of the hardware
Proactive contribution of suggestions for improvement and innovative ideas
Independent and responsible organization of development and customer projects
Covering all steps in the development - from prototypes to the design of the finished system with industrial requirements
You help your colleagues to overcome challenges and obstacles and offer an inspiring way of working that promotes creativity and openness

Detailed Description

Your Profile:

You are a technology enthusiast who wants to change the world for the better. You are passionate about your work, driven by a problem-solving mentality and have the following skills:

Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a related field of study.
3+ years of relevant experience in software development for electrical and mechatronic systems
Very good programming skills in C/C++ as well as experience in programming microcontrollers
Hands-on experience building mechatronic systems and a hands-on mentality required
Familiar with methods for mechanical/mathematical model building and system analysis/identification
Experience in machine learning to support the evaluation and analysis of measured and raw data
Methodical thinking and approach to complex problems
Business fluent in English and German
Trustworthy and reliable
