Detailed Description

Your role
 
As Operations Manager, you will work directly with our VP Operations in setting up best-in-class processes for FINN’s USA fleet and customer operations to support our mission to build the most popular mobility provider in the world. With an analytical mindset and strong project management skills, you put our strategy to action by identifying and onboarding the right service providers and implementing scalable processes. 

Your responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a winning strategy: Derived from our company strategy, it is your task to support shaping and executing a winning strategy for (fleet) operations that sets the guardrails for growth. In order to do this, you will work closely with our User Acquisition, B2B and Customer Success Team, to successfully manage the tradeoff between customer friendliness and efficiency.
    • Develop a strong and sustainable partnership network:  Based on our strategy, it is your task to identify, benchmark and acquire service providers that best suit our vision. With your open and trusting personality, you will convince them to partner with and give their very best for us. Part of your responsibility is to analyze and evaluate offers as well as to negotiate contracts. 
    • Set up efficient and scalable processes: You support to shape the lifecycle of a vehicle at FINN - from logistics over registration up to the return process. Together with suppliers (OEMs) and service providers, you implement efficient and highly scalable processes. You constantly monitor that the agreed service levels are met and lead times are reduced. If our partners do not perform in the desired way, it is your task to independently escalate and steer the cooperation into the right direction.
    • Create transparency and decrease TCO: You always have the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of our fleet in mind. To ensure that we meet our profitability targets, you sense opportunity for cost improvement and take actions to leverage them, e.g. improving processes.
    • Support the development of our IT system: With your profound knowledge of our processes, you will support building the backbone of our operations: the fleet management system. Working jointly with our PM, you will define requirements to bring our systems to the next level, while always seizing opportunities for automation. 

Your profile

    • 1-2 years of experience in the automotive or fleet industry, or a high performance environment like a startup or a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
    • Graduated top of your undergraduate class
    • Communicative character who knows how to eloquently excite others for their ideas.
    • Ability to respond to changing priorities in an evolving business environment.
    • Strong solution finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges.
    • Highly analytical and comfortable around numbers.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and joy in making processes more efficient.
    • Excellent organization skills and used to planning ahead.
    • Genuine interest in the mobility industry.
