Detailed Description

Your Role
As a Product Analyst you will drive the Shopping Product team in the User Acquisition department towards becoming more data-driven. You will establish a “data mindset” and thereby identify the opportunities for growth, remove barriers to discovery, retention and engagement, and execute on projects to accelerate growth in our markets. You are closely involved in monitoring, measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of all product initiatives.

Your Benefits

    • This role is based in Munich with flexibility to work temporarily remotely from anywhere within Germany or from home. For candidates relocating to Munich, we offer full visa support.
    • With massive growth potential, FINN allows you to quickly develop and succeed in a highly motivating startup environment with ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent fixed salary, significant virtual equity share of the company, along a yearly personal development budget of 1,500€.
    • Our open, modern office in the middle of Munich is known for loads of fun with amazing colleagues and frequent team events.
    • You want to drive your own car with FINN? – Get one with our employee discount program.

Your Responsibilities

    • Develop clear and measurable objectives: You define and analyze metrics that measure the success of new features and allow us to monitor the health of our funnels across markets.
    • Create actionable insights: You use data to identify opportunities to remove friction and accelerate the growth of our products. With these insights, you give data-led recommendations to product teams.
    • Enable others to make clear decisions: You enable others to make data-based decisions, help them identify their blind spots, and increase your team members’ confidence in their decisions.
    • Create transparency throughout the organization: You are instrumental in sharing key results across the organization, create buy-in by increasing transparency, and make sure that everyone has access to the data needed to make decisions. Within this, you work closely with all our core data infrastructure teams and other analysts across the company.
    • Be a data evangelist: You use your understanding of funnels, user behaviors, and long-term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities for step and angle changes in growth.

Your Profile

    • Graduated top of your class with a Bachelor's degree or higher from a top-tier university.
    • 1+ years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally in digital product companies and e-commerce environments selling directly to consumers.
    • Experience in collaborating and communicating across a variety of engineering and non-technical product & design functions to drive towards common goals
    • Experience with SQL, telemetry tracking data coming through Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics / Segment / Adjust etc. and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI etc.) is a must. Experience with ETL processes or tools like dbt and GitLab is a plus.
    • Interest and first experience with A/B Testing and Statistics involving problem frame-works, developing hypotheses, designing and executing A/B testing for product and feature roll out, analyzing test results and providing business recommendations.
    • Highly analytical and comfortable around numbers with a meticulous attention to detail and joy in precise working.
    • Proactive mindset with an ability to think outside the box and enrich the team with new, creative ideas.
    • Strong solution-finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges.
    • Confident team player with an ability to help business and technical teams to work together towards a timely issue resolution.
    • Genuine interest in and curiosity about the mobility industry.
