Detailed Description
Responsibilities
– Mentor and up-skill more junior engineers
– Translate product strategy and objectives into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solutions
Workflow and testing practices.
– Collaborate closely with the product owner and other cross-functional teams, share best practice as well as discuss and motivate design solutions
– Work with professional Agile software engineering principles and best practices for the full software development life cycle
Qualifications
– Programming skills, in JVM Language (Java)
– Familiarity with Python and Machine Learning
– Familiarity with Content Delivery Network Solutions (CDN) and high-volume eCommerce Solutions
– Experience working with Cloud architecture (Azure and/or GCP)
– Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage.
– Are dynamic, collaborative, and curious
– Are flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalised
– Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle
– Experience implementing new architecture at scale.
– Have a “You build it you run it” mindset – with hands-on experience of DevOps or equivalent
– Are fluent in English both written and verbal
Required cloud certification: AZ-900 or GCP Core Infrastructure
