Join our fast-growing startup to build the most popular auto e-commerce platform. We work with the best car brands in the world and are backed by leading global investors.

Detailed Description

Your Role

As our Senior Treasury Manager, you will build and develop a best in class Treasury function for FINN Group. You play a vital role for the funding of FINN, covering all aspects of a Treasury function: payment transactions, cash management, bank reconciliations, FX and interest derivatives, financial instrument accounting, as well as relationships with financial institutions and FINN’s operational departments. You will work closely with our VP Accounting, external advisors and auditors on a daily basis.

Your Benefits

    • This role is based in Munich with flexibility to work (temporarily) remotely from anywhere within Germany or from home.
    • With massive growth potential, FINN allows you to quickly develop and succeed in a highly motivating startup environment with ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams.
    • Competitive fixed salary, significant virtual equity share of the company, along a yearly personal development budget of 1,500€.
    • Our open, modern office in the middle of Munich is known for loads of fun with amazing colleagues and frequent team events.
    • You want to drive your own car with FINN? – Get one with our employee discount program.
    • Discounted qualitrain membership enabling you to be active in various gyms within Germany.

Your Responsibilities

    • Execute and supervise payment transactions for FINN group entities.
    • Forecast and allocate the group’s cash position in an accurate and efficient way. Guide the customization of  the treasury module of SAP S/4HANA for relevant, fast, reliable and efficient treasury processes.
    • Identify and pitch investment alternatives for the group's cash position, evaluate risk positions and propose mitigation actions.
    • Guide and assist bank reconciliation and financial instrument accounting in the monthly closing and reporting process.
    • Own the banking ledger and act as the primary interface for FINN’s relations to banks and financing partners.
    • Support our business processes: You cooperate closely with operational departments to improve the group’s cash position: Invoice2Cash, Procure2Pay and other processes.

Your Profile

    • Ideally, you are a treasury professional with 5+ years of work experience in treasury or related fields. We also consider candidates with less experience as long as you are eager to learn and bring a sound understanding of treasury topics in general.
    • You have work experience in a fast paced environment of any sort. Startup or scale up experience is a plus.
    • You graduated in an accounting-related field of study or have a comparable educational background.
    • You have good knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and/or IFRS. We support your professional training and certifications in this area of expertise.
    • Experience with the SAP S/4HANA treasury module is a plus.
    • You are a self-starter with strong analytical skills and you work with great attention to detail.
    • You are well organized and an excellent team player.
    • You are fluent in German and English.
