Job Description

Working closely with the Senior Manager of Lead Generation & Campaigns, the SEO & Website Manager will help evolve the SEO strategy by defining the strategic levers that will advance both organic and paid search at ProPharma Group. This role is highly collaborative as this individual will work across the teams and with business stakeholders and execute SEO strategies and website changes. They will grow ProPharma Group’s organic keyword footprint by leveraging search best practices and introducing new, innovative tactics. This individual will work closely with campaign managers, and brand managers across all of PPG’s functional topics, to maximize organic exposure for the company’s and service line content. Understanding complex B2B content strategies will be imperative for success. The SEO Manager will identify and create development plans for improving technical SEO elements across the website and prioritizing by total impact gained. This person will be an in
house expert on all items related to SEO and can communicate the value of search to ProPharma Group’s digital strategy.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Support ongoing site-wide SEO efforts which includes content, on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations.
  • Form innovative strategies to maximize exposure of content through search.
  • Lead the advancement of SEO reporting capabilities for various stakeholders within marketing.
  • Report on performance with insights and hypothesis around search data – with recommendations for next steps.
  • Work closely with web, content, and analytics to execute on cross functional campaigns related to search.
  • Assist with internal site search optimizations, ensuring content tagging best practices are followed across the organization.
  • Work with representatives from local marketing teams to address their needs and offer suggestion on promoting content locally through search.
  • Pursue educational opportunities and seek to educate coworkers on SEO best practices.
  • Manage external vendors (marketing agencies/CRM support agency/promo item vendors/etc.)
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to make website improvements and assist in best practice knowledge share.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

  • 4-year university degree.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • 3-6 years of experience in hands-on search engine optimization, preferably at a B2B organization.
  • Strong skillset with writing and editing content for SEO.
  • Deep understanding of search and web traffic metrics and the ability to present comfortably on data.
  • Familiarity with the core principles of information architecture and internal linking.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as STAT, SEMRush, ahrefs, and ScreamingFrog.
  • Hubspot experience a big plus.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Ads.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing.
  • Experience with paid search campaigns.
