For our client is looking for a Senior Java Developer with AWS experience.
Role description:
As a Senior Java Developer you use the latest technologies, like AWS and Microservices, to develop cutting edge solutions and services to our customers. The purpose is to help them stay ahead and offer attractive and relevant services – now and in the future. Together with your team you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a service – from requirements, development, test, deploy, maintenance to continuous improvements and new innovations.

Team description:
The team is comprised of 6 developers, Scrum Master, PO and Business Analyst.
The team is building a complicated interface connecting two different, complex backends.
Team works exclusively on AWS using microservices, and main language used in Python and Java.
Most Team members are new to Python, so we really need someone who would be able to coach, educate and support other team members in Python.
Team is comprised of many nationalities, therefore working in a multicultural setting experience is very important. The team operates with a strong DevOps mindset.
Team uses XP techniques, pair and mob programming daily, practices code reviews.
The product the Team is building is not in Production yet, so currently there is no support rotation.
The team will grow in the future and will possibly become 2 teams, after the product goes live, the person we are looking for must be able to transfer knowledge and coach effectively.
Need to have:
* AWS (Lambda, Cloudformation, SNS and SQS)
* Java (Java 8 and above)
* Python (very good knowledge)
* DevOps setting
* Being able to coach and support other team members adopting Python is essential.
Nice to have:
We need a strong developer able to navigate international and multicultural contexts, able to experiment and set direction to his own work.
Person who adheres to XP, practices Clean Code.
