For our client we are looking for a Software Product Manager ((Software Structure Admin).
It is not every day that someone launches a new car brand, but that isn’t what is unusual about our client. They are re-defining the entire experience of buying, owning and using a car.
Assignment Description
SPMs (Software product manager) act as a central role in SoftWare DownLoad (SWDL). The main responsibilities are creating Software Products (SP) and validate System Software Structure (SSS) for workshop and SWDL tests. SPM work closely with SWDL test team and aftermarket application BAMs (especially LCDS and gl-PIE BAM). SPM is also the link to other parts in the organization (CEVT, GRI, Geely) when it comes to SW questions for aftermarket.
Therefore, it is important for SPMs to attend meetings with R&D where SPMs assist with deviations and quality issues that effects production cars and aftermarket to help create a solution that works for workshops. SPM has responsibilities for Software Product (SP) production and maintenance. This includes creating SPs in Teamcenter and export to downstream systems.
SSS is a delivery from R&D, but SPMs act as the last validator before release to workshop and SWDL test.
