Job Summary

Required

• Oracle database administration of Oracle standalone and RAC 10g,11g,12c,18c and 19c on Linux
• Good hands-on experience in Installation/configuration of ASM and Oracle database in standalone and Clustered environment.
• Good hands-on experience in Upgrade/Patching.
• Experience in Database cloning using RMAN/user managed backup.
• Experience in Export/import operation of database/schemas/tables using data pump utilities.
• Tablespace/User/profile/privilege/role management
• Knowledge on DB security e.g. E-wallet/TDE
• Strong performance tuning skills-Query level tuning/DB level tuning/Memory level tuning.
• Monitor and optimize performance of database.
• Experience in implementation of Oracle table partitioning.
• Experience in backing up database using RMAN/User managed backup and recovery management
• Good hands-on experience in database migration using RMAN/EXPDDP.
• Good hands-on experience in building Physical Standby / resolving gap issues in Data guard.
• Must have performed maintenance tasks like re-organization of table/index rebuild
• Knowledge in shell scripting is added advantage.
• OEM configuration and troubleshooting (Managing and Administrating OEM tool)
• Good Hands-on experience in CDB and Pluggable database management.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL database administration tasks.
• Good Hands on experience in MySQL database installation and configuration.
• Implement and maintain database security(create and maintain users/role/ assign privileges)
• Good understanding of MySQL underlying storage engines such as InnoDB and MyISAM
• Proficient in query tuning and optimizing performance of database.
• Knowledge on MySQL feature such as event scheduler
• Experience with replication configuration in MySQL, DR activities
• Experience in MySQL patching, Database refresh/dump, Report generation.
• Experience in managing Backup and Recovery scenarios.
• Knowledge about ITIL process tools and good ability to understand business functionality, process and flows
• Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
